I've got an invite to Canada to hunt big moose in northern Alberta (with possible wapiti and maybe bear!). After doing some research, I've settled on the .375 H&H as a good choice. But I'm left-handed. Savage has been good to me in the past, having a real selection of left-handed rifles, but they don't make a .375 H&H.
Browning has an A-bolt available but that would be my last choice as my only Browning was a certified lemon.
The few others I've seen have been custom specials in the $2000+ range, pricy Blasers, etc.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Might any of the current production leftie Savages be convertable by a custom gunsmith?
I'm all ears on this one....

check out this site. maybe you can contact them and have them make a custom barrel.

Thank you for the tip, I'll see if they've got anything to handle the big .375! :)

i looked on the site, and they don't have .375 barrels listed, but i'm sure you could have them specially make one.

or you could always get a ruger no.1.

I thought about the Ruger, plenty to like, but if we go after bear I want a quicker follow-up shot than it can give me....
