I've got to order a few things from Brownells and was wondering if I should pick up some of this. However, I've already got a jar of Oxpho Blue liquid. Is this stuff that much better?

Probably the same...
Why now try some Mark Lee Express Blue???
I use it to touch up small parts and screws when I don't want to hassle rust blueing a single screw...
Stove top operation. Simply heat the part slightly, apply the solution- it will evaporate immediately- reapply reapply reapply, boil in distilled water for 5 minutes and card or buff with scotchbrite (steel wool if you must).
Nice and dark. Quick and easy... The 5 minute boiling takes the longest...

I like the idea of the express blue, but how would I do this to my 1895 Mauser's barrel/action?
