I have a Marlin Cowboy Limited that I use for SASS. Please give me some opinions on the best tang sight for it. I know about Lyman's sight, but are there others? I want the best, so price isn't a concern.

Well, you can get MVA's version of the Lyman style tang sight for $225. Here's the addy: http://www.shooterstore.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=127&Product_ID=6783&CATID=55

For about $100, you can use one of these Marbles's Tang Sights (http://www.marblearms.com/sights/peep.html). They are adjustable for both windage and elevation and work really well on lever actions.

i've got a Smith tang sight on my Rossi 92 that works fine but you know i'm not sure that if i had it to do again that i would even use a tang sight......it looks like to me that most of the hot dog cowboy shooters around here don't even use them...espcially if the targets are 30 yds or so....to each his own i recon....Dick
