View Full Version : Whats too good of a deal to pass on an 870?

A local pawn shop has 2 - 870 Express', and both are stickered for under $199. They're the 28" vent rib bbl with synthetic stock variety. They're in LNIB condition.

My dilema is I don't need any more SG's. *But* I may be able to pick one up for a lot less than sticker price. So my question is what is the consensus of the group on what kind of a deal is just too good to pass on.......$160 out the door......??

The last 870 I bought (that I did not need) was because I just couldn't pass it up for 155.00.
It was NOT LNIB.
That sounds like a great deal to me.
I would buy it and find a friend who is looking for one.

$160 each and take them both or one for $175. That is a deal that would have me in trouble!! Seriously the $199 is a decent price, anything off of that would be great. And I am serious that I would buy them both.

Last 870 I couldn't pass up was a PD trade in. $185. But it was in beautiful condition, set up with a 20 inch rifle sighted barrel, and a 3 shot extension. Choate furniture. Goregeous gun. :)

Not bad, but around these parts if you wait for sales you can find 870 Express guns for $199, new in box. If it's LNIB, $150 is a good deal but not worth eating tuna and instant noodles for a month. :)

Dick's, the aptly named Sports chain, had these on sale last summer for $209.

You've a good price for Expresses. A decent used and classic WM for $199 would have me reaching for plastic and facing an irate Mrs McC.

Mine was LNIB and got it for $169 plus tax. Great Deal!!! Although there was no manual, a simple call to Remington and they sent a new one. I did have to purchase a choke wrench (not sure if you get one or not with a NIB)
