How do you all shoot your shotguns at the range? Do you check the shot pattern with a traditional target, a piece of paper, what? From what distances do you shoot?

OK, Guyon, tall order...

Depending on the day's mission, I might shoot some clays, shoot B-24 and 27 or tombstone targets, pattern on large pieces of paper, or just roll some beer cans and plink at them. Except for aerial stuff, range stays within 25 yards, and might be as close as one yard for those CQB drills.

Regardless of type of shooting, I keep the basics constantly in mind, Form, technique and attitude....
