Has anyone out there tried Ballistol or Cleanzoil?

Are they as good as or better than Breakfree?
I am skeptical.

Please let me if any of you folks have had success with
these cleaning products.

What do you want to do with it?

I see Ballistol as more of a preservative than as a cleaner. I use Butch's Bore Shine to clean with. I don't put teflon down my barrels.

I was told there was no Teflon in either. and it was biodegradable. at least Ballistol claimed it was.

I just wanted to use it like breakfree. a cleaner lube and protectant.

Do you think they are Snakeoil?

Jack Fitzgerald of the Cleanzoil Corp. Returned my call
Personally today.

He told me that Cleanzoil has no Silicone or Teflon to gum up
Moving parts and that it works in 10 degrees below zero temps.
Armalite is currently using this product.

If it is good enough for Armalite then I'm going to use it myself.
