I like one stop shopping. Does anyone know of a smithy that can do a trigger clean-up, mill in a front sight and refinish my Sig 220? I want a more durable finish for it and I have to have the front sight dovetailed in to put nightsights on it.
Thanks, Mikey |

Off the top of the head.........can only come up with Sig, Exeter. Think they still do E-Nickle & K-Kote? They do a good "Smooth & Lighten" trigger job for only ca. $65. {have done 4 ea. form me over the years}. Had Novak's do their "Duty Action" trigger job on a 226 a year or so ago along with bbl. crown. They did a Superb job much lighter in both SA & DA than Sig. They can re-blue and probably do many of the others like Robar, Blact-T, etc. but most of the larger 'Smith Houses still send this type of refinishing out and their $ reflect same. http://www.novaksights.com Sig was much better on the S&H as they only {@ that time?} ask for $8 return S&H. If you just want your slide done it won't cost anywhere near as much to send it out to someone like metalife, etc. after you have the sights, etc. done. http://www.metalifeind.com If you go with Sig be sure to call 1st to get an RA #, shipping address, and written work order.

Bob Cogan / Accurate Plating and Weaponry http://www.apwcogan.com can do all three for you. They do excellent work + some of the best chrome finishing around.
