Can anyone tell me the width of the dovetail cuts on the newer fn hi-powers? The reason I want to know is I want to put mec-gar adjustables on my arcus hi-power. The sights on the arcus and the fn look very similar. I took out the arcus sights they measure .285" in the rear and about .280" to .281" in the front. In the brownell' catalog they show a .285" rear sight by itself but in the front and rear sight sets it doesn't give the size it just says it's for the practical, the markIII and I guess it's the basic one with the wood grips. Thanks.

RR, I don't know right off hand. I think your best bet would be to contact the tech support staff at Brownells and tell them what you have. They'll be able to tell you which one you need. George

Thanks George, I contacted mec-gar and they don't have a set that will fit so I guess I will go with mmc sights, they said they can probably set me up.
