Scored a Colt 6920 Magpul SL edition
I got it "Used"... $650
If it has more than the factory test firing through it, I would be surprised. There is no wear anywhere. Looks like it was bought new, and then sat in a safe untouched. Been wanting a Colt... just because "Colt". It's a good little basic carbine. Not sure if I am going to put on a red dot or not. Edit... To correct the fat fingering of the model number... It is a 6920. Last edited by marine6680; September 26, 2017 at 03:20 PM. |

Nice score!
If not a red dot, I like the look with a carry handle myself Last edited by Stats Shooter; September 25, 2017 at 11:40 PM. |

Isn't that a 6920 with the fixed front post sight?

Yes it's a 6920. The 6940 has a monolithic upper and handguard. Still great deal at that price.

You have plenty of rifles with optics. I would have this as your "keep it simple" AR. That's what I was going to do with my 6720. Lightweight ,iron sights only. Lasted about a month then I slapped an eotech on it.
Congrats on your new pony. |

I swapping the furniture to the grey version. Same type/style though.
Now I will have extra furniture sitting around... That's gonna haunt me until corrected. Lol |

Just needs a BAD lever, Noveske STS and a trigger and it's done.
And a BCM charging handle... |

I am thinking I will keep this one fairly simple.
Though, I do think I need a better iron sight. The MBUS is fine as a backup, but not the best as a primary sight. |

A fixed sight would be cool on that.
The Mbus Pro is also nice. Since there's so much Magpul on there already. |

I like the mbus pro sights... But I am thinking a fixed sight if it is to be the only sight on the rifle.
And yeah, I do think it was an awesome deal. I am very happy with it. |
