I'm looking into buying a replacement barrel for a 12 guage Winchester Model 12. I've seen two; one has the legend "Winchester nickel steel" and the other "Winchester proof steel." Somewhere I've read that one is newer and perhaps stronger than the other.
Can you tell me if that is true, and which would be newer? Thanks. |
