Cricket .22 Red Dot

I want to put a red dot on my daughters cricket. Do you guys have any suggestions what to go with? It's just a cheap little 22 so I want to stay cheap but I'm not sure where to start looking.

Yes I know that most people train their kids with open sights before moving to optics. I have considered this and that is not the way I have chosen to go. I want to keep her interest in shooting then I will teacher open sights down the road, so please limit responses to the main question, what red dot sight would be cheap and work on the cricket.

Tasco and barska will be worth a look. Saw a dot at walmart for under $35.

Wally World is your store,,,

I put one of their $35.00 Tasco (maybe BSA) red dots on a 702 Plinkster,,,
It worked just fine and is held it's zero,,,
What more can you ask for?

It's now happily mounted on a Beretta U22 Carbine,,,
Same good performance as with the Plinkster.

Yup I just ordered the scope mount and the BSA red dot for both my sons and my daughters crickets. I hope they work.

Tasco makes one with the .22 mounts already on it.

Not all people agree with the open sights first theory.
