I feel like a proud father,,,

Last weekend I took my friend Jane to the range again,,,
This time we centered on two types of handguns,,,
J-frame revolvers and small semi-auto's.

She shot my S&W Model 36 in .38 Special and Model 34 in .22 LR,,,
She fired my Bersa Thunder 380 and Thunder 22,,,
And my Beretta 84 in .380 and 87 in .22 LR.

She seemed to like the Bersa's better than the J-frames.

She also fired several cylinders through her Nickel Model 15,,,
It's a Treasury Department Commemorative,,,
A gift from her father-in-law.

Anyways, I got an E-mail from her today,,,
She decided to go with the semi-auto,,,
She ordered a Thunder 22 today.

Her reasoning was that while she will get a .380 or 9mm someday,,,
For her first pistol she wanted a .22 for range practice,,,
While she learns more about pistols in general.

She also contacted Stillwater Armory and signed up for three classes:
  • Intro to Handguns,,,
  • Handgun Self-Defense,,,
  • Oklahoma Concealed Carry.

I feel like a proud father.

Jane should be completely insulted...

...once she realizes that you withheld your CZs from her.

Hello Stringfellow,,,

Actually we shot those a few weeks back,,,
She shot the 9mm and the .22 Kadet.

They were too big for her,,,
She couldn't get a decent grip on them.

The standard grips on her K-frame are about all she can handle,,,
The Bersa and the Beretta Cheetah fit her hands perfectly.

She actually liked the Beretta best,,,
But she didn't like the $725.00 price tag on it.

Hey vostracker,,,

What's the sense in having the variety of guns if not to share em,,,
Besides, Jane is good company and very easy on the eyes.
