I just picked up a used S&W 22A. Planning on trying my hand at bull's eye shooting. I am a complete moron when it comes to these pistols. The gun didn't come with the owners manual, can anyone give me some basic instructions or tell me about it?

Thanks.

s&w 22A

takedown and reassembly are easy. Lock slide back, push button in front of trigger and pull up. Barrel is hinged so dont try to pull it forward. Keep hand over slide and release slide stop. Pull slide up and thats it. Keep a hand over slide to prevent return spring from flying out. good accuracy good sights and easy takedown. prefer to shoot federal gold medal target. great plinker. youll enjoy it
