I know velocities vary from gun to gun even the same make, but does anyone have a rough guess of a standard pressure 115gr 9mm fired from an 8" barrel auto? Thanks!

Actually the length of the barrel has little or nothing to do with the max pressure since the pressure reaches max and declines long before the bullet gets to the muzzle. The max SAAMI pressure is 35,000 psi but the average factory load is closer to 32,000 as I recall. We have some real ammo experts who may be lurking here and who will have more exact specs.

I was asking for the velocity of a standard pressure 115 gr 9mm round not the pressure. Thanks!
