It would normally have more information than that. Is that exactly how it is spelled? |

It was made in Italy by Fausti Stefano. Excam was an importer that went under in the 80's.

16.0 and 16.1 should be the bore diameter in MM's, which equates to around .629". That is in between nominal 20 gauge, .615, and 16 gauge which is nominally .66. It sounds from this that you might have a 16 with M/M chokes.
However, a 20 can range from nominal .615 tp to .635. The 76 is the chamber length in MM's, which is 3" Clear pics would help |

I am unaware of any, but I have been wrong before......it SOUNDS like it is a 3" 20 gauge that has an overbore.
It might be best to contact a local gunsmith and have him measure the bore AND the chokes for it. BTW, the pressure in KG is 1290, it isn't KG1 290. That's proofed for some serious loads I AM surprised that there isn't another number on each barrel showing the constriction in MM's...... |
