5x40 thread to 8x32 thread adapter?

Hello all, I use my .17-20 caliber Tipton rod to clean my .22's to .223 caliber rifles. I bought it for use mainly in a CZ (they are known for having a "tight" bore) and I want to be able to use some of my 8x32 thread brushes. But I can't seem to find a place that sells an adapter. I don't want to buy a .22 caliber rod. Thanks.
