maine turkey hunting

do you have to take a specific turkey hunt course or does regular hunters safety cover it.

The standard course covers it, though I think it's a good idea to brush up on the safety issues with turkey again before you head out. You need a permit in addition to your Maine hunting license.

Check teh DFW site for all you need regarding laws/regulations on any species and get urself a current rule book. Good info to keep handy.
