Parts needed to switch Mini-30 to wood stock
So, my mini has a synthetic stock. There's a gun show here in Vegas this weekend, and I'm kicking around the idea of picking up a nice laminated stock for it. Where in the world can I get the stock reinforcement stuff that's required for a wood stock? From what I understand, I need:
Stock Reinforcement Lock Washer, 2 Req’d MS08000 Stock Reinforcement Screw, 2 Req’d KMS06900 Stock Reinforcement KMS20702 Forearm Liner & Stock Cap Assembly KMS02200 Is calling the Ruger factory the only venue I have for getting these parts? Does anyone have suggestions? Also, from what I understand, the only thing I have to do to make a wood stock for a 14 fit a 30 is a little woodwork around the magazine well, right? If I'm mistaken, please let me know. |

You can also get these parts from http://www.e-gunparts.com/productsch...l=1910zMINI-30 but why is buying from Ruger unacceptable?

Not neccesarily unacceptable. I just hate phones for some reason. Internet is so easy.
