Can I suppress an M1A Socom II??

These are great guns, I don't have one yet but I am likely to make it my next acquisition. I prefer suppressed rifles and as far as I understand so far the M1A Socom II has an unusual muzzle?? Is this true? And if it is can I still have it suppressed?

If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it . . .

Only if you get the soon to be released SOCOM DC Vortex from SEI, otherwise
upgrade to an 18.0" barrel and pick the muzzle device and suppressor you want.

I spoke with Ron Smith after SHOT 2008 and suggested he
send the prototype to LAW483 for evaluation. Stay tuned.

Until then, here is a video of me and my suppressed MK14 SEI Mod 0
