Mossber 500

Does mossberg make a ported slug barrel for the 500?

Edit: To specify, my sister has a 20 gauge ported slug gin and I have a 12 ga. with a slug barrel, no porting. I am looking for a 12 ga. barrel

I doubt they make one.

But why buy another barrel anyway?

Why not just have your present barrel ported...at a place like these guys:

Sure,

Try here, you can even buy them on-line now:

Also, try eBay, sometimes they come up for sale there.

5" rifled, ported tube

I bought a Hastings Paradox tube (SDI 12) for my Mossberg 500 last summer. I spent around $40 American on the thing and it works well. The 5" of rifling does the job well enough, and the tube is ported top, bottom, left, right, and all points in between.
