Proud new owner of a ptr-91
picked up my ptr-91 kp from the pawn shop the other day and shot it today. Awesome rifle. Mine came with the JLD "tactical" slim metal handguard and a us made fixed stock, as well as a german collapsible stock, (the old style one) and an alloy mag. Got it from atlanticfirearms.com shot with the oil that was already on it, 140 rounds south african surplus, zero malfunctions, good accuracy, lighter recoil than expected, and it seemed to already be zeroed to me! beautiful black semi gloss finish. I love this rifle. This is what I'm taking to the carbine class I have next week at blackwater.

I looked them over. No complaints in any area. I decided to purchase a genuine German HK91A2 and a collapsible A3 stock myself. Both are high quality and fine in their own right.

The reason I ask is that one of the things I like about buying used rifles is that the previous owner has almost always sighted the rifle in. And the trigger is generally better, too. Of course, there are other advantages to buying a NEW gun. Regardless, the -91 is a fine rifle and you did well.

Excellent. I'm trying to decide myself between the F and the A1 from Atlantic.
