Muzzle brake for an SKS
Is it possible to make a muzzle brake out of the granade launcher on a Yugo SKS...or is this not a thing to do.....
I have one on my new Yugo and was just thinking and that usualy gets me in trouble... Thanks

The primary function of a muzzle brake, as I understand it, is to reduce recoil. The SKS has so little recoil as it is, I don't think it would be worth the trouble of making a muzzle brake.

Yugo with muzzle brake
In order for them to be able to sell them in CA that is what they did to the grenade launcher, made it into a muzzle brake.
