M-16A1 Question.

Well, I got back from guard duty the other day, and I'm still signed for a rifle, namely an M-16A1. And I wonder, has this rifle (or lower, at least) been there and did it do that?

The serial number is 5193987, can that help?

Just curious, what sort of ammo do they issue you to fire through the A1's 1 in 12 bore?

IMI manufactured or LC surplus .223
