Ghost Rings on Remington Police Models

Maybe someone on TFL will know:

Who makes the ghost ring sights on the 1187P? Is it a Remington manufactured product, or is it a 3rd party part oem'ed to Remington (ie: MMC, Trijicon, etc.)?

Oh great, I have to sucky remington one that broke off my shotgun. I wonder if I send it back for warranty repair will they put the crappy sight or the Wilson (scattergun) sight? I was going to send it back but spending 20 bucks to put a lame sight back on wasn't my idea of money well spent!
