Opinions on 12 gauge Fiocchi buckshot?

Have never shot ANY Fiocchi ammo, but found a ? great deal ? on Fiocchi 12 gauge 00 & #4 buckshot.

Decent ammo?

Reliable enough for spare/backup HD use?

Thanx!

Fiocchi is all I run through my Saiga 20 and I've never had a mishap with it.

Ammo to go? $129 + shipping for 250 rds? Yes, it is very good ammo. I have a few cases and I love it.

I ran three 10-rnd boxes of the reduced recoil buckshot through my Mossberg 930 SPX yesterday. I had one jam, but that was while I was trying a fast 2nd shot and probably wasn't holding properly (operator error). It didn't cycle through my Model 10B, but there is a warning on the gun to Only use full strength or magnum ammo anyway.

It didn't hold as tight a pattern as Federal's LE132 load, which had the diameter of a dollar bill at 25 yards. On the other hand, FE132 is just a fraction of an inch longer than some other shot shell; I can only fit 6 in the mag tube instead of the 7 that will normally fit.

Cost-wise, it's a winner <6.00 for 10-rounds as opposed to >5 for 5-rounds of LE132.

Thanx,ya'll!

I had gotten kinda spoiled to the Federal 127's, but these are considerably cheaper.

I have an unwritten rule NOT to buy any questionable ammo, just so it never ends up in a gun I'd reach for if the fecal matter collides with the oscillating air mover.

Thanx! for your help.

I ran some Fiocchi through my 11-87 for 5 position this weekend. I found it to be exceptionally dirty. I did not have any problems with 75 Fiocchi fired and some other brands, but they definitely seemed dirtier and my gun was much dirtier than when I fire only remingtons.
