3 rifles on the range ( including 45 cabelas hawken)

First rifle out on the line: @ 58 yards. (Third rifle will be out later this evening)
Cabelas Sporterized Hawken .45cal 1:24 twist , 22" barrel. 70gr Pyrodex RS, 275gr Aerotip. RED

CVA Mountain Stalker, .50cal,26" Barrel, 1:32 twist. 70gr Pyrodex RS, 245gr Aerotip. BLUE

I was not pleased with the 45's group so i decided to take 3 more shots with my Pet load of 80gr Pyrodex RS and the 225gr AT (I wanted the 275s but grabbed the wrong package and just noticed when i was looking through the bullet stash, DOH!! ). This has always been the most accurate load in every rifle ive owned and it did NOT let me down today!
Take a look at what a mear 10 grains can do! GREEN

Bullets Inside my sand box, these are shots 2 and 3 and #1 was directly under them.

My brother and i will be taking his CVA Hawken out later this evening as i have to do some testing with the 1:48 twist and the 245gr Aerotip.

Also the CVA Mountain Stalker will get retested again tomorrow with an 80gr charge this time along with the 245gr AT.

I do believe i am seeing a 1 to 1 & 1/2" group @ 100 yards with the .45cal Cabelas Hawken!!
