if you dont know what you will be hunting how do you know what you need to buy another rifle?

30-06 kills most everything humanely with few exceptions.

I'd suggest waiting until you get there and go from there if you want something different from your rifle.

many times the best way to find out what you want is to bring some type of gun thats capable of killing the game you are after. after a few hunts you'll know you want a sling, less recoil, lighter gun, flatter shooting long range power ect ect and go from there.
