Whats the going price for Sig 228 or 229?

Just wondering what the average is for these I'm thinking of buying one.

New...anything up to $700 for a 229 don't know if you can find a 228 new.

Used, I see 228s in carried but decent condition for $500 with a Hi cap.
I bought my 229 used, but it was in great shape, 90% or better 2 10 rders $550.

Im sure you could do better, but I don't think you should do any worse.

The store in the town my buddy lives----NIB two-tone/night sight 228 for the stinging price of $899. No hi-caps.

New 228 at my dealer's shop, two Klinton mags, about $550. Dreamy DA trigger, too. :)

Greeting's All,

A LNIB Sig P228 with 2 high cap's just sold
for $650.00, in the Birmingham, AL News last
week. And it was just the standard blue one;
w/o night sight's.

And, like a fool I paid $760.00 + 8% sales
tax for a .40 caliber Sig P229; way back in
December of 1995.
