aimpoint comp ml2 mounting question

i just ordered the aimpoint comp ml2 and a forward mount for my ar-15 variant. unfortunately, i didn't realize the rings didn't come with the aimpoint. my question is, do i have to get the rail grabber mount? or do i just need the wide 30mm scope rings to mount to the forward mount?

Forward carry handle mount does require the Railgrabber mount as part of the package.
Been looking at an Aimpoint for my Bushy. Almost put one on my ASA 9mm Flattop but went with the C-More Tactical.
Would greatly appreciate any reports and/or comments you may have once you get it installed.

the old aimpoints came with a mount but it is not tall enough for foreward mounting on most rails
