Hi all,

I just bought a new 10FP today in .308, and am thinking about getting a Harris Bipod for it. However they seem to make a lot of different models.

Rifle will be used for varmits/targets/tactical shooting.

Which model do you reccomend and why?

Thanks! :D

I have the series S model LM (swivel base, adjusts from 9-13 inches, has the leg notches for quick adjustment). It works pretty well for shooting off a bench and prone shooting. They make different lengths if you are strictly benchrest or like to shoot sitting up on the ground. They also make them without the swivel base and with legs that don't have the notches on them (takes longer to set up but are infinitely adjustable). Depends on what you want to use it for.

I'm not 100% sure which model I've got!

It's 9-13 inches, doesn't swivel, and has spring-loaded legs with no notches. I paid about $70 for it a year and a half ago.

And it just so happens that it's hanging under a Savage 10FP in .308! :D

Tasco World Class 3-9x50.

Got a .75", 4-shot group at 100 yards with it last Sunday. :D

Harris Bench Rest Modular (BR-M). Swivel, of course.
