How reliable is the BAR in magnum calibres? I'm thinking about a BAR Stalker in .300 Win Mag. I doubt that it's "AK reliable" but I am hoping that it is more than "AR-15 reliable."

Thanks.

Based on handling a few, and a fair amount of reading other folks' comments, I'd say they're accurate, reliable and heavy.

They're not meant to be dropped in the mud, but if normal cleaning and care is your style, they're as reliable as you'd ever want, SFAIK.

They are heavy and they are accurate. Just keep it cleaned and not over-oiled. I think that they are really a well made firearm, overall.

I have extenxive experience with one in 338. Keep it clean and oiled properly and it will shoot as long as your ammo holds out. Recoil is more of a firm push and more pleasant to shoot than my 03.
