Sig Factory Bluing of a German P226 Slide

I shipped a slide off to Sig Sauer for a Re-Blue. It came back yesterday after spending less than 2 weeks at the Mother Ship.

I am very pleased with the work and the quick turn around. :)

The attached link has pictures of the before and after slide. The final picture is of the pistol after reassembly. I also replaced the Siglite night sights and replaced the grips. In my opinion, it is pretty nice looking for a 1987 vintage police trade-in.

Pics are a little on the small side, but from what I can tell it looks good! Is it actually blueing they did to it, or was it nitriding?
