Howdy. I'm looking for some good quality BDUs that aren't black or camouflage. Khaki or tan would be great. I'm not really into the "military look". Thanks.

Natchez Shooters Supply sells Atlanta Army/Navy BDUs in khaki. Price $20 ea for shirt and pant. They have boonie hats too. http://www.natchezss.com

Have you looked into Royal Robbins 5.11 cargo pants?
Good quality pants w/ lots of pockets etc.

Try Brigade Quartermaster. http://www.actiongear.com They have BDUs in several colors. They also carry the coats with just two pockets so you can tuck them in.

I get my BDUs from Bradley's Military (http://www.bradleys-military.com). Good prices and great service. You can request Propper BDUs (for no additional cost) too.

They have all sorts of colors -- navy blue, khaki, grey, etc.

I second the vote for Royal Robbins 5.11 pants (aka FBI pants).

They look "outdoorsy" rather than militant and are very functional.

I THIRD for the Roy Rob's. Nice pants, I really like them.

I have read about Royal Robbins 5.11 pants several times. However, I have not found them in any catalogs or local stores. Where do you get them?
Thanks.

Sackett,

You can find them in REI stores and also Botach Tactical.

Campmor always has excellent deals on pants. I'll vouch for RR. I also have some railriders that are excellent outdoors pants. Click here for the campmor pants page (http://www.campmor.com/webapp/commerce/command/CategoryDisplay?cgrfnbr=61349&cgmenbr=226&sort=A)

Hope this helps

Funny thing. You are looking for BDUs in non camo and fashion trends are putting civies in camo patterns. Go figure:)

Well, if the charge is "piling on," I plead guilty.

I second/whatever BOTH the RR 5.11s (on sale at Botach) and the khaki BDUs. Get the all-cotton version, though.
