Any update from those who bought HOGUE COMPSTOCK?

I did a search and saw that some of you out there purchased the Hogue CompStock recoil reducing stocks. Just curious if you've come to any conclusions on their effectiveness after shooting with them for a while. I'm thinking of getting one for my Moss 500.

My gunwriter wife got a freebee from Hogue. It was too long for her, so it ended up on my 870. I like it, and believe it does work. I would estimate it reduces recoil for slugs about 20%, or about equal to turning a slug's felt recoil into that of buckshot.

It has my endorsement, and I ain't much for gimmicks.
