Price check Colt Officer's Enhanced

Along with a Colt 01918 I'm also looking at the Colt Officer's Enhanced in stainless. I'm going to embark on the long haul of hand polishing to a mirror finish. I'm not quite sure how much more money the Enhanced version will run me so opinions would be much appreciated.

Considering that you're asking about a pistol that has been out of production for at least ten, maybe fifteen years, price is almost irrelevant. IF you can find one for sale, it will all come down to whether you are the seller can agree on a price.

I can't say that I have seen an stainless Officer Enhanced model that wasn't already a bright stainless finish. Local to me, the price seems to be running $800 to $1000 for the bright stainless models. Colt does such a nice polish job I wouldn't waste my time trying to compete with them.
