Barrel Adapter for GSG 922 ?

I just bought a GSG 922 and am looking for the barrel adapter so I can run my SilencerCo SS Sparrow. Does the regular GSG 1911-22 adapter work on the 922? The 922 doesnt have a barrel bushing like the 1911-22.
