Guys,
I just visited the best little gun shop in Atlanta.
Called Deercreek Gunshop Inc. 280 Fairground ST S.E. Marietta, GA 30060.
770-425-5060.
Gunsmith on the premises. Has a great selection of firearms that fit the C&R and even older definition. Lot of battle rifles. All kinds of parts including brass and steel frames for 1851/1860 Colts. Had a box full of cylinders.
Wall full of muzzle loading rifles. A full rack of Green Mountain barrels. Fair selection of powder including some Pyrodex.
Range brass...I bought 100 .45ACP for 15 bucks.
Had three trapdoors. I looked at one at 750.00 which was in really great shape.
Had a hex receiver Mosin Nagant.
I would say that his prices are about on a par with the LGS range.
He had two bicycle revolvers I would have liked but as I am traveling the movement of the pistols would have created problems. He said he would ship them through my C&R but I did not press the issue. One was an American Revolvers .32 (100.00), the other was an H&R break open .38 (125.00). The .38 was in real good shape and worked perfectly. The .32 was a little shaky.
Just a little shop but it is packed with great stuff.
This will be a regular stop when I am in Atlanta.
