I just inherited my Grandfathers Belgium made Browning Medallion Grade .270.
I have been trying to research and find out when it was made and am not having any luck. I was told the gun was made in 1957. This gun is in excellent (like New) condition and has the leather hard case with it. The Ser# is 7X39xxx. Pics to be added soon.

Thanks in advance

AFAIK, the 1st year they were made was 1959 - your gun was made in 1967.

The best way to ascertain current value would be to surf ONLY sold/closed gun auction websites, to find out what someone's been willing to pay lately for another in like condition & type chambering - and not using any unsold "price", "opening bid", "asking price", or "buy it now" price as a value (which they're not).

Amazing how many people surf and see the Buy It Now price and think that is what their guns are worth. They fail to see that those guns didn't sell. Definately look for the 'sold' prices.

$800-$1,000. Just bought a Browning Safari in 30-06 a few months ago for $875 + tax. You might get a premium for the hard case as long as it is a Browning case.
