This may sound like a dumb Q for a firearms enthusiest site but here goes anyway. Are there any people in eastern Virginia that can replace the O rings in a Crosman 1377? I have 2 older models and both are out due to bad O rings. I am not crazy about trying to do the job myself because I will just goof them up even more.
Thanx.

You should be able to perform this repair. You might want to check out this website first: http://www.airgunsmith.com/cros1377/cros1322-77.htm

The biggest problem is finding the o rings. I have a old crossman that needs new o rings but they stopped making parts for it twenty years ago. I bought a o ring kit with assorted sizes but none worked. If you find the rings its a pretty simple job.

Try a scuba shop for o-rings.
Scuba equipment use all kinds of weird ones.

Thanx guys, I am a bit apprehensive about trying this repair myself but if I could find a repair manual or schematic with parts list I might just try it. Sometimes I get something taken apart and cant cant quite get it back to its original configuration. Oh well, I might just buy a new one to add to the old ones.

Crossmans are pretty simple. You may need a valve tool to remove the valve, but it sounds like you should have one in your toolbox.

Nothing wrong with airguns at all.

Heck the 1377 doesn't even need a valve removal tool. It's the easiest one in crosmans line
