Want flash hider for Ruger SR22P

I have a Ruger SR22P with a threaded barrel. I have been unsuccessful in searching on-line for a flash hider (not a silencer)to screw on. Not sure if such an animal exists. Thread size is 1/2 x 28 (Class 2).

Does anyone have any information? :confused:

A Google search for "1/2 x 28 flash hider" turns up 27,300 results, at least 4 of the top 5 being 1/2x28 threaded flash hiders.

Thanks for your reply Brian. I'm embarrased that I missed searching the name of the thing I was trying to find. :o I was searching under rifle and pistol accessories.

After reading some of the material that came up, I see that the 1/2 x 28 threaded hiders are meant for barrels firing 5.56 ammo, like for an AR 15. My threaded pistol is .22 LR. However, 5.56 is .223 cal and I'm wondering if that might be close enough to work with a .22. Any thoughts.
