I am looking for anyone's opinion on a trijicon ACOG scope. The one I'm eyeing is the 4X32, with the night sights. I'll be mounting it on a flattop BM with a 20" bbl. Does the front sight get in the way? Is it worth the money?

They ARE sweet, however. . . .
The illumination isn't too bright when aiming from partial darkness into a well-illuminated area. If you can, try to find one in the store and look outside thru it on a bright day.
I've personally gone with the aimpoint without zoom (I recently got the one with zoom; will try it tomorrow). I have not run out an aimpoint battery yet; but I guess that can be seen as a downside. The upside is that an aimpoint can be made bright enough to be painful, even on a bright day.
The illumination was a reason for the mil. going away from them. I know neither of us will be "going into combat" with the thing; but this impacts me as I shoot at a lot at an indoor range with a dark firing line and lit up targets.
