Hard chrome on stainless Springfield

I have a Springfield V12.It is stainless but my corrosive sweat does make it rust.I want to get it hard chromed.AP@W seems like the place.My question is;is the chrome put on thin enough that the cool insignia and the serial numbers will still show?

Yes, the hardcroming usually applies on in the thickness of a thousandth's of an inch. Any writing/insignia should continue to show through the finish. Hope this helps,
