This is my 1st time on this forum...this is a rifle that belonged to my father and when he passed away my sisters in charge of his estate gave me the rifle, all i'm sure about it is that its an italian carcano rifle. I've had it 20 yrs and think its time to find out what model it is.It fires 6.5mm ammo. The recievers stamped Roma, OR-U, 6101, F.P and the letters MS that are circled. A friend of mine bought a box of Norma 6.5mm carcano ammo and test fired it...he said he made some good practice shots with it. I'm adding some pics and i hope someone here can tell me what model it is. I've done some searching and can't find any carcano rifle models stamped Roma. Thanks for reading my post.

Looks like an original 1891 that has been sporterized, which is a shame.
