Looks like it would ride pretty high up, but otherwise looks to be a good medium range shooter!

Looks nice, your barrel looks like the DPMS Mini-SASS 18 incher I'm looking at. What muzzle devise is that? I like the foam pad added to the cheek raiser. How's that single point sling attachment working out? Who's mono pod is that? Looks like a tack driver to me.

It is the DPMS Mini-SASS 18" Fluted SS, that would be a Levang Linear Comp, does an outstanding job of placing muzzle blast downrange and reducing muzzle rise. Easy install no washer needed as it is not tunable. With the weight of the barrel, the comp and the additional weight of the Magpul PRS stock it balances exteremly well. It is configured for single point or dual point with a front sling mount. It does ride high but that's the way I like it. The monopod is my own design, built by me. I have since modified the design to be foldable. Sub MOA at 200 yards :) Going out to 300 Yards tomorrow with Hornaday Match 75gr.

One question:

Why the vertical forward grip on a rifle obviously set up for prone distance shooting?

Other than that, it looks like a good varmint style AR.
