Looking for any information on this rifle. Dates, numbers, good, bad?
Probably at least 20 years old. Tube fed magazine. Not much in the search function.

20 years?

They were made from '55 to '63. Total production was a little over 200,000. As I remember it, most had detachable mags, but a small percentage came with tube mags.

That's about all I recall. Winchester didn't make too many bad .22 rifles, especially prior to 1964 when they decided to cut every corner they could find.

Thanks johnbt.
Had no idea it might be that old!
It's been sitting in the corner for the longest time and for some reason I just became a little curios about it. Something about the number 77 in another post. Think I paid $200, probably not that good of a deal.
