Have always wanted a 30-378 Weatherby Magnum and was getting close to buying a Mark V. Dropped my H&K USP Tactical off at a local gunshop yesterday to change sights and the owner had a Model 995 sitting on the rack in 30-378. He won it many years ago and never shot it & recently put it on his rack to sell. It came with the box, 2 mags, manual, and even a box of Weatherby shells.
Have researched this model online and just can't find much on it. Apparently it was only offered for a few years in the 90's. It's also referred to as a TGR-S according to the manual.
Anyone have any ideas on the value of this gun in unfired condition? I own 2 Weatherby's and have had great luck with them and still want a Mark V in 30-378. Would like to sell it for what a Mark V costs but don't know if that's realistic.
