Did I say I was happy about the 422?

Second trip to the farm this morning in the rain; couldn't wait anymore. Best $200 I've spent in a long time!

10 yards, 50 rounds, CCI Mini-Mag 40gr solid nose; effortless. I only took my time on the first three magazines.. the last two were more rapid fire (as you can see by the fliers). I'm hooked on this little second hand pistol. Just wanted to share.:)

That's why the 422's are harder to find, people that have them have a tendency to keep them.

I have one in my gunsafe in like new condition.

I purchased a good amount of them when S&W started discontinuing them and they sold like hotcakes.

I always believed they were hurting the sales of the S&W model 41 and that's why S&W quit offering them.

The model 22 that S&W offers now is not near as good of gun as the 422 family of guns.
