Got my letter to pick up my CPL today in the mail

Got home from work and grabbed the mail out of the box. I was walking up to the house while sorting through it and saw a letter from my county clerks office. I opened it and it said i could pick it up anytime :)

Then it said if i wanted them to laminate it there will be a 10.00 charge :( oh well kinkos here i come ( laminate it for a buck). So to say the least i am stoked and am going to run up on my lunch to get it.

p.s i was told it would be 3 months to get it but it it took only 5 weeks ? plus plus i guess.

ours in SC takes 90 days.. Mine arrived on day 88..

Wow. I applied for mine on a Tuesday and it came in the mail that Friday, but the rules are a bit easier here in GA.

That's weird, you go pick it up? They just mail you the card here.

Yeah, we have to pick it up. I dont know why? some counties will mail it to you but here for some reason they make you take some oath ( i have no idea why) and sign for it.

I get to take my wife to get hers tomorrow. Been about 3 weeks wait, but worth it. I have had mine for some time and put it to use every day.
