Thoughts on new XD-M 5.5"

Just got the e-mail this morning and can say that I liked what I seen, Hope they come out with a .45 sometime soon! Then I will have to buy a new handgun:p shucks .. .. ..

So whats everyone else think?

That is a sexy gun. There were many on xdtalk who were butthurt that SA didn't announce an XD45 compact.:p

I am sure it said 5.5 on the e-mail and I am one of the butt hurt guys over the .45 in the 3.8 version. I don't wanna have a ton of different handgun calibers floatin around my loadin bench. Any word on if they are going to introduce the 5.5/5.25 in .45?

I haven't shot one, but my local range has one to rent, and I did get to fondle it...I like it, but for me it would strictly be for competition, and I prefer to compete with what I plan to carry...
