I just ordered a EAA Witness 9mm/22lr combo from Buds for $419, mostly so I can train with the .22 cheaply. I realize that 'blued' finishes aren't the most durable but I don't plan on using a holster for this gun so I'm not concerned overall but I couldn't find any durability reviews of the EAA blued guns when I searched.

So, if you have any experience with EAA blued guns, please let me know how they're holding up. Thanks.

This is the gun...

The EAA Witnesses that I own all have a very dull matte black finish. I haven't carried them extensively, but, so far the blue has proven to be more or less as durable as any other blue finish.

I've got a pair from the mid-nineties still wearing their blue.
